Tractor Run

8th April 2010

Ken Finnemore and over 50 local farmers gathered together at Pennant Farm near Port Isaac for their annual Tractor Run on Sunday March 21st. Tractors from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s took part, driving through the the narrow back lanes of this beautiful part of Cornwall, stopping at Hengar Manor for lunch, St Kew Inn for tea and biscuits and 20 odd miles later arriving back at Pennant Farm. The Tractor Run raised over £900 for two local charities, the Mermaid Centre in Truro and the Chestnut Appeal. Pictured are Gareth and Mark Dawe, with Ken Finnemore with a cheque for £509.94.
